Spectators: 7478 (Terracing: 5610, Seating: 1719, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Bernt Skoog started the match with the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcus Palm in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Raycho Kaleev prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bernt Skoog received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Mats Brogren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Ljungdalen's Ludwig Boklund got a free kick in the 16th minute. In the 19th minute Manfred Jonasson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mats Brogren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mats Brogren made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Bernt Skoog sent off a good shot on target. Bernt Skoogs short, quick shot in the 23rdth minute got Mats Brogren to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Bernt Skoog's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Mats Brogren firmly grabbed it by the left post. The supporters of Ljungdalen booed when Turens Hjältar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thor Svensson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mats Brogren was out of position in the 46 minute of play, and Manfred Jonasson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Manfred Jonasson really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The supporters of Ljungdalen booed when Turens Hjältar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcus Palm didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roland Lustig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ljungdalen's Raycho Kaleev proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Ljungdalen from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Ljungdalen getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Ralf Stålman hit a great ball. Manfred Jonasson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ljungdalen's Claes Termander was substituted for Ludwig Boklund. Turens Hjältar's Mats Brogren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kent Thidén in the 71st minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gustav Holm during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 71 played minutes Turens Hjältar got a freekick which was hit by Gustav Holm. Sixten Nilsson took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 72nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mats Brogren. Turens Hjältar's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 77 minutes into the match, Ljungdalen's goal looked a bit too open when Thor Svensson came free, but Raycho Kaleev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 80 minutes, Kent Thidén managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ljungdalen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kent Thidén was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marcus Jakobsson charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcus Jakobsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Raycho Kaleev was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Hampus Nordkvist. With a little luck, Ljungdalen's Raycho Kaleev got control of the ball when Thor Svensson tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Marcus Palm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 87th minute, Marcus Jakobsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 88 minutes into the match, Hampus Nordkvist sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Raycho Kaleev threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Hampus Nordkvist this time. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcus Palm got free with Raycho Kaleev in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Ljungdalen getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Sixten Nilsson hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Allan Spets in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Raycho Kaleev saved Ljungdalen from getting behind. 2-0 became the score in the 97th minute when Kent Thidén elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Ljungdalen had played much better football throughout.
