Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Henrik Dalkvist kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd match minute, Oviken RK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jimmie Eckegren to maneuver through the defense. After 11 played minutes Ljungdalen got a freekick which was hit by Dennis Skoog. In the 18th minute Manfred Jonasson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Conny Sundström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 20 played minutes Ljungdalen got a freekick which was hit by Sixten Nilsson. In the 21st minute, Henrik Dalkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Raycho Kaleev didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rasmus Julin went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jimmie Eckegren got free with Raycho Kaleev in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Ljungdalen fans' excitement grew in the 38th match minute when Ljungdalen's Manfred Jonasson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Sigvard Sander's late challenge caught a Ljungdalen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sigvard Sander helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Ljungdalen booed when Oviken RK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sigvard Sander didn't get a good kick on the ball. Conny Sundström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernt Skoog, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bernt Skoog made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rasmus Julin in the 51st minute of play forced Ljungdalen's goalkeeper Raycho Kaleev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jörgen Sjöberg kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Raycho Kaleev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henrik Dalkvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Ljungdalen's Kent Thidén was substituted for Bernt Skoog. After 73 played minutes Oviken RK got a freekick which was hit by Erland Hultman. Kent Thidén fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conny Sundström having to interfere. Kent Thidén who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 80thth minute tested the skills of Conny Sundström when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 83rd minute, one of Ljungdalen:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ljungdalen. If Kent Thidén had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kent Thidén received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Conny Sundström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Wiktor Wik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Many of Ljungdalen's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Ljungdalen may have spent more time on the ball, but Oviken RK were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
