They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sture Sandström made a kick off. Sven-Åke Jakobsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sivert Bern in the 53rd minute of play. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robin Hammarström couldn't finish the play. 67 minutes into the game, Perspolis FC's Sture Sandström nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Stig-Arne Hylander made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. A throw-in in the 71st minute of the game was made by Alvin Andreasson with Alex Matsson as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After a rather tough play, Edberg United's Anton Blomqvist got a free kick in the 72nd minute. 2-1 became the score in the 74th minute when Sture Sandström elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Stig-Arne Hylander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andreas Jakobsson in the 77th minute of play. Stig-Arne Hylander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sture Sandström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alvin Andreasson made in the 86th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Sivert Bern however managed to control.
