In the 8th match minute, Rimbo IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mårten Söderquist to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Holger Norberg during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. FC Snow's Claes Lundberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mårten Söderquist in the 16th minute of play. The supporters of FC Snow booed when Rimbo IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patric Öman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edmund Blomberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claes Lundberg having to interfere. Dick Alkvist might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Claes Lundberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dick Alkvist ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience was convinced that Thomas Bodin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Claes Lundberg was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. 28 minutes into the match, Thomas Bodin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Claes Lundberg. FC Snow's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Thomas Bodin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The supporters of FC Snow booed when Rimbo IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gert Falkrans didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 34 minutes, Thomas Bodin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rimbo IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Thomas Bodin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Thomas Bodin in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Claes Lundberg saved FC Snow from getting behind. Thomas Bodin took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Claes Lundberg. Claes Lundberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Joakim Pihlgren hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. 48 minutes into the match, FC Snow's goal looked a bit too open when Thomas Bodin came free, but Claes Lundberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The wind increased when Hans Dahlberg made the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Thomas Bodin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Claes Lundberg was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. FC Snow's Claes Lundberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save FC Snow from getting a goal against them. If Thomas Bodin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mårten Söderquist got free with Claes Lundberg in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Claes Lundberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mårten Söderquist in the 63rd minute of play. If Thomas Bodin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Holger Norberg got his second yellow card in the match during the 66th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 67th match minute, FC Snow was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Holger Norberg to maneuver through the defense. Claes Lundberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thomas Bodin in the 69th minute of play. After 79 played minutes FC Snow got a freekick which was hit by Robin Bark. Claes Lundberg was out of position in the 83 minute of play, and Thomas Bodin capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Thomas Bodin really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. In the 90th minute, Pär Ahlgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot 94 in the game by Thomas Bodin from a close distance when the talented Claes Lundberg managed to make a qualified save. FC Snow's players were relieved.
