Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Tord Björkman started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Hampus Bålström's late challenge caught a Rimbo IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hampus Bålström helped the player get up and apologised. Hampus Bålström kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. If Thomas Bodin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Landvetter's goalkeeper Kjell-Arne Stenqvist, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fredrik Glanselius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tord Björkman in the 10th minute of play. In the 13th minute, Tord Björkman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Landvetter fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tord Björkman in the 15th minute of play forced Rimbo IF's goalkeeper Fredrik Glanselius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Hampus Bålström was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 17 minutes had been played. Dick Alkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 22nd play minute Thomas Bodin came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Kjell-Arne Stenqvist. 1-1. Rimbo IF's Fredrik Glanselius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alex Sikström in the 27th minute of play. Kjell-Arne Stenqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mårten Söderquist in the 29th minute of play. Tord Björkman hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Mårten Söderquist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Kjell-Arne Stenqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Landvetter booed when Rimbo IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mårten Söderquist didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Landvetter's zone, Thomas Bodin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kjell-Arne Stenqvist came out of the goal and Thomas Bodin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 43 played minutes Thomas Bodin rounded Landvetter's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-1. Kjell-Arne Stenqvist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Thomas Bodin's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Thomas Bodin made a kick off. Kjell-Arne Stenqvist came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Rimbo IF's Thomas Bodin. But to his dismay, Thomas Bodin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Kjell-Arne Stenqvist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Thomas Bodin's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tord Björkman during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 56th match minute, Landvetter was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tord Björkman to maneuver through the defense. In the 59th minute, Thomas Bodin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 61st minute, Dick Alkvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 63 minutes of play Rimbo IF's Mårten Söderquist was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 64th match minute, Rimbo IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mårten Söderquist to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice moves Tord Björkman could shoot a difficult shot in the 66th minute, which Fredrik Glanselius however easily saved by the left post. Landvetter's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Fritz Simonsson in the 68th minute. 69 minutes into the match, Landvetter's goal looked a bit too open when Thomas Bodin came free, but Kjell-Arne Stenqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Landvetter getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Alex Sikström hit a great ball. In the 74th minute, Dick Alkvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Erland Carlsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Landvetter's supporters rose to their feet, but Erland Carlsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fredrik Glanselius breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Valdemar Kellbom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fredrik Glanselius made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Valdemar Kellbom sent off a good shot on target. Thomas Bodin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kjell-Arne Stenqvist having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Rimbo IF's Edmund Blomberg got a free kick in the 89th minute. 92 minutes into the match, Edmund Blomberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kjell-Arne Stenqvist. Landvetter's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edmund Blomberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Thomas Bodin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rimbo IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Thomas Bodin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kjell-Arne Stenqvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Rimbo IF had played much better football throughout.
