The supporters of Souvlaki BK booed when Rimbo IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrian Trillkott didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Leo Busk managed to get in a good position for a shot. Souvlaki BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Leo Busk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fredrik Glanselius breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Leo Busk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 33rd minute, Dick Alkvist left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rimbo IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Fredrik Glanselius stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leo Busk's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Souvlaki BK's Helge Cane slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fredrik Glanselius. That made the score 2-1 after 38 minutes of play. 41 minutes into the match, Rimbo IF's goal looked a bit too open when Andreas Söderström came free, but Fredrik Glanselius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Feliberto Gora showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thomas Bodin, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Thomas Bodin made the kick off in the second half. Thomas Bodins short, quick shot in the 52ndth minute got Feliberto Gora to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Thomas Bodin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Feliberto Gora having to interfere. Rimbo IF's Fredrik Glanselius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leo Busk in the 55th minute of play. In the 58th minute Thomas Bodin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Feliberto Gora saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thomas Bodin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Feliberto Gora made a huge save. Mathias Bark sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thomas Bodin charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Thomas Bodin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leo Busk in the 70th minute of play forced Rimbo IF's goalkeeper Fredrik Glanselius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The goalkeeper, Feliberto Gora, was totally fooled by Rimbo IF's Roy Pilblad, who 80 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Fredrik Glanselius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mathias Bark, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. In the 90th minute, Souvlaki BK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Edmund Blomberg fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post.
