Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Joel Wahlström started the match with the kick off. Lennart Rosén received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Edvard Linberg came out and tried to block the shot, but Lennart Rosén slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 4th minute. In the 7th minute, Niklas Dahlquist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lennart Rosén in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edvard Linberg saved Thieluista Stegel from getting behind. In the 12th minute, Lennart Rosén left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Edberg United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niklas Dahlquist in the 18th minute of play forced Edberg United's goalkeeper Stig-Arne Hylander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edvard Linberg was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Lennart Rosén showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 21 minute of play. After 27 played minutes Thieluista Stegel got a freekick which was hit by Jörgen Hellström. 30 minutes into the match, Thieluista Stegel's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Wahlström came free, but Edvard Linberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32nd minute there was a penalty for Edberg United. Konrad Stål stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Edvard Linberg. 4-0. Edvard Linberg made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Lennart Rosén sent off a good shot on target. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jörgen Hellström to strike the kick off in the second half. Thieluista Stegel's Edvard Linberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lennart Rosén in the 53rd minute of play. Lennart Rosén scored 6-0 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edvard Linberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Thieluista Stegel's zone, Lennart Rosén stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edvard Linberg came out of the goal and Lennart Rosén tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Joel Wahlström put it in 7-0 from a short distance just to the right of Edvard Linberg. Edberg United's Lennart Rosén got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Magne Ståhlman fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Thieluista Stegel's protests and gave Magne Ståhlman a yellow card for diving instead. In the 66th match minute, Thieluista Stegel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Magne Ståhlman to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lennart Rosén in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edvard Linberg saved Thieluista Stegel from getting behind. The referee felt a red card was in order, 73 minutes into the game, when Anton Blomqvist put in a rough tackle. In the 73rd minute, one of Edberg United:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Edberg United. When Edberg United's Lennart Rosén in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Thieluista Stegel's goalie prevented a goal. Lennart Rosén took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edvard Linberg. Edvard Linberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-1. Thieluista Stegel's Edvard Linberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lennart Rosén in the 85th minute of play. Bengt Kämpe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 91 minutes into the match, Thieluista Stegel's goal looked a bit too open when Lennart Rosén came free, but Edvard Linberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Thieluista Stegel's Aaron Pååk got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Alex Matsson kicked well hit freekick during the 98th minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the Edberg United players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
