Eric Jernberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valdemar Kellbom, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Monroeville Zombies's Eric Jernberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erland Carlsson in the 12th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tord Björkman in the 14th minute of play forced Monroeville Zombies's goalkeeper Eric Jernberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th minute, Hjalmar Abrahamsson fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Kjell-Arne Stenqvist, passed just outside the right post. Tord Björkman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zebastian Lööf in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kjell-Arne Stenqvist saved Landvetter from getting behind. With a little luck, Landvetter's Kjell-Arne Stenqvist got control of the ball when Hjalmar Abrahamsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Valdemar Kellbom blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eric Jernberg having to make a save. Eric Jernberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erland Carlsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zebastian Lööf was the one to do the kick off. Eric Jernberg made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Erland Carlsson sent off a good shot on target. Zebastian Lööf's late challenge caught a Landvetter's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zebastian Lööf helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Monroeville Zombies's Zebastian Lööf got a free kick in the 55th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Erland Carlsson got free with Eric Jernberg in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 57 minutes into the game, Hjalmar Abrahamsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Monroeville Zombies's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Landvetter the free kick. A collision led to Monroeville Zombies getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Hjalmar Abrahamsson hit a great ball. Tord Björkman scored 0-1 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eric Jernberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 62nd match minute, Monroeville Zombies was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hjalmar Abrahamsson to maneuver through the defense. Eric Jernberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tord Björkman, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. In the 72nd minute, Landvetter got a penalty, and Fritz Simonsson placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. In the 79th minute of the match, Hampus Bålström got a very nice opportunity to score, but Eric Jernberg was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Tord Björkman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Eric Jernberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 83rd minute, Erland Carlsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Landvetter fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. In the 89th minute of the match Olof Källberg shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kjell-Arne Stenqvist showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tord Björkman during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The Landvetter supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Landvetter would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
