Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Joel Wahlström started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lennart Rosén in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kjell-Arne Stenqvist saved Landvetter from getting behind. Kjell-Arne Stenqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lennart Rosén in the 17th minute of the match. When Alex Matsson fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Edberg United's protests and gave Alex Matsson a yellow card for diving instead. In the 19th minute, one of Edberg United:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Edberg United. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hampus Bålström in the 23rd minute of play forced Edberg United's goalkeeper Stig-Arne Hylander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Joel Wahlström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lennart Rosén recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hugo Kilman kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. In the 33rdth minute of the game Joel Wahlström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Landvetter's Kjell-Arne Stenqvist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 38th minute, Hampus Bålström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Edberg United fans' excitement grew in the 41st match minute when Edberg United's Joel Wahlström looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After the first half Edberg United were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 55th minute of the match Karl-Johan Lenberg sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Stig-Arne Hylander skillfully saved the ball. Kjell-Arne Stenqvist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joel Wahlström's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. A collision led to Landvetter getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Karl-Johan Lenberg hit a great ball. Konrad Stål was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 58th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Landvetter's Erland Carlsson got a free kick in the 61st minute. Edberg United's Lennart Rosén got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alex Matsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kjell-Arne Stenqvist having to interfere. Lennart Rosén's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kjell-Arne Stenqvist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. Lennart Rosén was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Kjell-Arne Stenqvist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joel Wahlström's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. After 87 minutes, George Ahlroht mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Landvetter and the Edberg United players grew even worse after the yellow card. George Ahlroht hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. It was beautiful to see Edberg United's Anton Blomqvist in action when he in the 89th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! The supporters of Edberg United booed when Landvetter was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl-Johan Lenberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Wahlström in the 93rd minute of play forced Landvetter's goalkeeper Kjell-Arne Stenqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lennart Rosén scored 0-4 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kjell-Arne Stenqvist, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
