Spectators: 7463 (Terracing: 5666, Seating: 1737, VIP seats: 60) Jörgen Hellström started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rd minute, Sture Sandström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Edvard Linberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvar Ljungberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With his leg Edvard Linberg managed to avoid a goal in the 11thth minute, when Perspolis FC's Sture Sandström fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 14 played minutes Perspolis FC got a freekick which was hit by Robin Hammarström. Perspolis FC's Sven-Åke Jakobsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvar Colin in the 19th minute of play. 21 minutes into the game, Maximilian Dahlbom was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Perspolis FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Thieluista Stegel the free kick. In the 21st minute, Maximilian Dahlbom hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edvard Linberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sture Sandström in the 25th minute of the match. Edvard Linberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alvar Ljungberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Alvar Ljungberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edvard Linberg was a little too slow when Sture Sandström got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 31st minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 38th minute, Alvar Ljungberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With his leg Edvard Linberg managed to avoid a goal in the 40thth minute, when Perspolis FC's Sture Sandström fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Perspolis FC's Kristian Skager shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 42nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Edvard Linberg but with some difficulty. 44 minutes into the game, Sture Sandström cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Edvard Linberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sture Sandström stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sture Sandström took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edvard Linberg. Edvard Linberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. 59 minutes into the match, Thieluista Stegel's goal looked a bit too open when Andy Tillman came free, but Edvard Linberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 61 minutes of play, Perspolis FC's Sture Sandström made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edvard Linberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 64th minute, Robin Hammarström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniel Persson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Edvard Linberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alvar Ljungberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edvard Linberg having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Perspolis FC's Robin Hammarström got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Edvard Linberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alvar Ljungberg went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Maximilian Dahlbom was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 77 minutes into the match. Maximilian Dahlbom kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Perspolis FC made a substitution. Frank Termander replaced Wictor Gustafsson. Edvard Linberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sture Sandström's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. Niklas Dahlquist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Perspolis FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
