Claes Lundberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alex Matsson in the 4th minute of the match. Joel Wahlström took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Claes Lundberg. Claes Lundberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 22nd minute Joel Wahlström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claes Lundberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Wahlström in the 24th minute of play forced FC Snow's goalkeeper Claes Lundberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Claes Lundberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sivert Bern, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alexander Samuelsson's late challenge caught a Edberg United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Claes Lundberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lennart Rosén in the 47th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hans Dahlberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute of the match, Sivert Bern tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Claes Lundberg saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 60 minutes into the match, FC Snow's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Wahlström came free, but Claes Lundberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Alex Matsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Edberg United's supporters rose to their feet, but Alex Matsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Claes Lundberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 94 minutes into the game, Edberg United's Sivert Bern nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Claes Lundberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4.
