Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) When the match had gone on for 4 minutes, Joel Wahlström put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Fredrik Glanselius. After having played for 10 minutes, Joel Wahlström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Edberg United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joel Wahlström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rimbo IF's Fredrik Glanselius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lennart Rosén in the 16th minute of play. In the 25th minute Lennart Rosén shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fredrik Glanselius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 27th match minute, Edberg United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arman Lind to maneuver through the defense. After 29 minutes of play, Edberg United's Joel Wahlström made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fredrik Glanselius was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alex Matsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Rimbo IF's Mårten Söderquist got a free kick in the 37th minute. Fredrik Glanselius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Wahlström in the 41st minute of the match. Fredrik Glanselius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lennart Rosén, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 45th minute, Thomas Bodin made a precise shot to the right of Stig-Arne Hylander. Edberg United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Thomas Bodin made a kick off. Rimbo IF's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Joel Wahlström 51 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-3. The supporters of Rimbo IF booed when Edberg United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sivert Bern didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 58th minute Joel Wahlström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fredrik Glanselius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mårten Söderquist hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Edberg United's Joel Wahlström slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fredrik Glanselius. That made the score 1-4 after 62 minutes of play. 67 minutes into the game, Joel Wahlström lined in a short shot 1-5 behind a frustrated Fredrik Glanselius. In the 76th minute, Edberg United's Alex Matsson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-6. Mårten Söderquist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Stig-Arne Hylander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Edberg United's Konrad Stål got a free kick in the 85th minute. 91 minutes into the match, Rimbo IF's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Wahlström came free, but Fredrik Glanselius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mårten Söderquist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edberg United's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
