Spectators: 7484 (Terracing: 5652, Seating: 1732, VIP seats: 100) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Kurt Lange might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bengt-Åke Dahlman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kurt Lange ran back to his position shaking his head. Färnäs SK's Michael Mossberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mats Löfgren in the 24th minute of play. Handmåla FK's Edward Karlsson got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 45th minute, Kurt Lange got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tim Offendahl to strike the kick off in the second half. Färnäs SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Kurt Lange was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bengt-Åke Dahlman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kurt Lange succeeded in the game's 79th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. Åke Lundkvist struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Michael Mossberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Handmåla FK. Tim Offendahl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 93rd minute, Wilhelm Källberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Färnäs SK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Färnäs SK's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
