Spectators: 7487 (Terracing: 5616, Seating: 1722, VIP seats: 149) Villiam Kilberg made the kick off and thus started the match. Sven-Ove Norberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gusums IF's goalkeeper Jan Lindqvist, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Max Sandström kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Gusums IF's Jan Lindqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Villiam Kilberg in the 19th minute of play. Paul Stor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eric Fågel, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Jan Lindqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Villiam Kilberg in the 28th minute of play. Pelle Skräddare hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Hannes Ek might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Paul Stor. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hannes Ek ran back to his position shaking his head. Eric Fågel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Paul Stor having to make a save. In the 39th minute, Sven-Ove Norberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 43rd minute, Hannes Ek ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Paul Stor was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hannes Ek was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Bredared's zone, Hannes Ek stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paul Stor came out of the goal and Hannes Ek tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 54th minute Hannes Ek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paul Stor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hampus Danielsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan Lindqvist having to interfere. The supporters of Gusums IF booed when Bredared was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilhelm Axelsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Bredared getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Wilhelm Axelsson hit a great ball. After 66 minutes of play, Gusums IF's Eric Fågel made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Paul Stor was left in no man's land by his defense there! Paul Stor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hannes Ek, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. After 71 minutes of play Bredared's Wilhelm Axelsson was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Bredared's Wilhelm Axelsson got a free kick in the 71st minute. In the 74th minute, Eric Fågel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Bredared's zone, Hannes Ek stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paul Stor came out of the goal and Hannes Ek tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jan Lindqvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hampus Danielsson in the 78th minute. After having played for 80 minutes, Hannes Ek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gusums IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hannes Ek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Eric Fågel came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Gusums IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eric Fågel couldn't finish the play. Eric Fågel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Paul Stor having to make a save. Bredared's Paul Stor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eric Fågel in the 89th minute of play. Hannes Ek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paul Stor having to interfere. Ludvig Söderqwist hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Hannes Ek struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Paul Stor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gusums IF. Eric Fågel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Paul Stor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paul Stor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eric Fågel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gusums IF's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
