In the 22nd minute Lars Rolandsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan-Ove Almstedt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernt Tinglöv showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from George Gustavsson in the 23rd minute of the match. The supporters of Sangis IK booed when Irak was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Melker Vennerdal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bernt Tinglöv was out of position in the 28 minute of play, and 陶强宁 capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. 陶强宁 really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Pontus Heggert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernt Tinglöv having to interfere. Jan-Ove Almstedt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Elg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 37 minutes into the match, Daniel Elg notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Sangis IK's Jan-Ove Almstedt. Jan-Ove Almstedt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Irak's Melker Vennerdal got a free kick in the 42nd minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

After having played for 52 minutes, Ragnar Bäck managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. After a rather tough play, Irak's Melker Vennerdal got a free kick in the 86th minute. A collision led to Sangis IK getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. George Gustavsson hit a great ball. The Sangis IK manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Irak to win.
