The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Melker Vennerdal hit a great ball. Bernt Tinglöv took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hampus Danielsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 14th minute, Lars Rolandsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Paul Stor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lars Rolandsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Vilhelm Bengtsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lars Rolandsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 23rd minute, Bredared's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Vilhelm Bengtsson fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Paul Stor made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Vilhelm Bengtsson sent off a good shot on target. Vilhelm Bengtssons short, quick shot in the 28thth minute got Paul Stor to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Bernt Tinglöv showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Villiam Kilberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Lars Rolandsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Irak's supporters rose to their feet, but Lars Rolandsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paul Stor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Villiam Kilberg was the one to do the kick off. Paul Stor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lars Rolandsson in the 52nd minute of play. Lars Rolandsson struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Paul Stor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Irak. Kjell Fagrell hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match.
