After a rather tough play, Handmåla FK's Tom Lindström got a free kick in the 4th minute. Irak's Bernt Tinglöv proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Irak from getting a goal against them. After having played for 7 minutes, Lars Rolandsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Irak's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lars Rolandsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vilhelm Bengtsson in the 16th minute of play forced Handmåla FK's goalkeeper Bengt-Åke Dahlman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Vilhelm Bengtsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 33 played minutes Handmåla FK got a freekick which was hit by Valdemar Sjöström. In the 34th minute of the match Johnny Caspersson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bengt-Åke Dahlman skillfully saved the ball. After 39 minutes of play, Irak's Vilhelm Bengtsson made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bengt-Åke Dahlman was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bengt-Åke Dahlman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vilhelm Bengtsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bengt-Åke Dahlman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lars Rolandsson in the 43rd minute of the match. Tom Lindström's late challenge caught a Irak's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tom Lindström helped the player get up and apologised. In the 44th match minute, Handmåla FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tom Lindström to maneuver through the defense.

If Vilhelm Bengtsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bengt-Åke Dahlman made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Vilhelm Bengtsson sent off a good shot on target. In the 58th minute Lars Rolandsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bengt-Åke Dahlman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 62nd minute, Handmåla FK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Vilhelm Bengtsson fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lars Rolandsson in the 64th minute of play forced Handmåla FK's goalkeeper Bengt-Åke Dahlman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 66th minute, Daniel Elg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Lars Rolandsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Handmåla FK's goalkeeper Bengt-Åke Dahlman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 76 minutes, Lars Rolandsson took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Bengt-Åke Dahlman to make any attempt to save it. The supporters of Irak booed when Handmåla FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tom Lindström didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Vilhelm Bengtsson came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Irak fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vilhelm Bengtsson couldn't finish the play. Lars Rolandsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Bengt-Åke Dahlman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 91 played minutes Handmåla FK got a freekick which was hit by Tom Lindström. When the match was over Irak could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Handmåla FK throughout the match.
