Niklas Strömbom received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Leo Olsson came out and tried to block the shot, but Niklas Strömbom slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 16th minute. A hard shot 19 in the game by Simon Asserlindh from a close distance when the talented Leo Olsson managed to make a qualified save. Sunderland AFC's players were relieved. Leo Olsson made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Simon Asserlindh sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, FC Miro Kubisztal's Ingmar Hellkvist got a free kick in the 25th minute. Conrado Fraco struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Ezequiel Magdaleno didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sunderland AFC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Conrado Fraco in the 29th minute of play forced FC Miro Kubisztal's goalkeeper Ezequiel Magdaleno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Herbert Benet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Niklas Strömbom came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the FC Miro Kubisztal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Niklas Strömbom couldn't finish the play. Sunderland AFC's Leo Olsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Sunderland AFC from getting a goal against them. After 35 played minutes FC Miro Kubisztal got a freekick which was hit by Zebastian Engström. 37 minutes into the game, Conrado Fraco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Ezequiel Magdaleno was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 43 minutes into the match, Sunderland AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Zebastian Engström came free, but Leo Olsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ezequiel Magdaleno didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Conrado Fraco went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Simon Asserlindh stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, FC Miro Kubisztal's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Herbert Benet fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Lars Beckeman charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lars Beckeman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Sunderland AFC's Lars Beckeman got a free kick in the 58th minute. FC Miro Kubisztal's Mats Sörman got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leo Olsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simon Asserlindh, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. In the 64th minute, Conrado Fraco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sunderland AFC's Leo Olsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niklas Strömbom in the 74th minute of play. FC Miro Kubisztal's Zebastian Engström got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 81st play minute Conrado Fraco came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ezequiel Magdaleno. 1-3. 91 minutes into the match, Conrado Fraco notched a goal, 2-4, to the right of FC Miro Kubisztal's Ezequiel Magdaleno. Ezequiel Magdaleno was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The FC Miro Kubisztal supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Sunderland AFC's performance. The match ended with a win for Sunderland AFC.
