The supporters of Soaring Eagles booed when Haraka Lions was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aleksander Damm didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kevin Vallmark charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kevin Vallmark the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 10th minute, Gustav Göransson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Soaring Eagles's Edward Vennerkvist got a free kick in the 11th minute. If Sven-Ove Hedbom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 15th minute Jens-Erik Kihlberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sören Fogel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mikael Smedfeldt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustav Göransson in the 22nd minute of play. Soaring Eagles's Mikael Smedfeldt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonatan Sigman in the 23rd minute of play. After some careless play in the Soaring Eagles defense, Jonatan Sigman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mikael Smedfeldt. The Soaring Eagles fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mikael Smedfeldt should have stopped the shot. In the 29th minute, Sven-Ove Hedbom got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 32 minutes of play, Haraka Lions's Jonatan Sigman made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mikael Smedfeldt was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lars Wahlström kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. In the 40th minute, Jonatan Sigman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mikael Smedfeldt was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Ingmar Askstedt took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mikael Smedfeldt. Mikael Smedfeldt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jonatan Sigman was the one to do the kick off. Jonatan Sigman's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 52ndth minute, Mikael Smedfeldt skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Jonatan Sigman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Mikael Smedfeldt made a huge save. Mikael Smedfeldt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonatan Sigman in the 56th minute of the match. After 58 minutes, Gert Jakobsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Haraka Lions and the Soaring Eagles players grew even worse after the yellow card. Soaring Eagles's Mikael Smedfeldt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Soaring Eagles from getting a goal against them. 66 minutes into the game, Jonatan Sigman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Mikael Smedfeldt was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 75th minute, Gustav Göransson fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Mikael Smedfeldt, passed just outside the right post. In the 85th minute, Haraka Lions's Jonatan Sigman ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mikael Smedfeldt. Mikael Smedfeldt yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-8. A collision led to Haraka Lions getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Magnus Nilsson hit a great ball. Mikael Smedfeldt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonatan Sigman in the 92nd minute of the match. Karl-Ove Blom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mikael Smedfeldt having to interfere. A collision led to Soaring Eagles getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Oskar Vennerlund hit a great ball. If Jens-Ola Bålström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Haraka Lions's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
