With a left leg Adrian Ekström saved Lannavaara IF from getting behind. 7 minutes into the game, Erling Stolpe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lannavaara IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Soaring Eagles the free kick. When Jakob Hägg fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lannavaara IF's protests and gave Jakob Hägg a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Lannavaara IF getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Jakob Hägg hit a great ball. Emanuel Askestät fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrian Ekström having to interfere. 14 minutes into the match, Jens-Erik Kihlberg notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Lannavaara IF's Adrian Ekström. Adrian Ekström was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sven-Ove Hedbom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Adrian Ekström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 21 minutes, Leonard Ståhlman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Soaring Eagles and the Lannavaara IF players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 21 played minutes Soaring Eagles got a freekick which was hit by Leonard Ståhlman. The supporters of Lannavaara IF booed when Soaring Eagles was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonard Ståhlman didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 29 played minutes Lannavaara IF got a freekick which was hit by Niklas Njurenius. Emanuel Askestät fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrian Ekström having to interfere. In the 36th minute, Jens-Erik Kihlberg made a precise shot to the right of Adrian Ekström. Lannavaara IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 40th minute Sven-Ove Hedbom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrian Ekström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Soaring Eagles were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Adrian Ekström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leonard Ståhlman in the 54th minute. 56 minutes into the match, Soaring Eagles's goal looked a bit too open when Walter Ahlén came free, but Mikael Smedfeldt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Walter Ahlén in the 57th minute of play forced Soaring Eagles's goalkeeper Mikael Smedfeldt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Jens-Erik Kihlberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Soaring Eagles's Sven-Ove Hedbom got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 62nd minute, Soaring Eagles's Jens-Erik Kihlberg ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Adrian Ekström. Adrian Ekström yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. Dennis Lindell recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 78 minutes into the game, Dennis Lindell was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lannavaara IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Soaring Eagles the free kick. After a rather tough play, Lannavaara IF's Dennis Lindell got a free kick in the 78th minute. Sven-Ove Hedbom came free with the goalkeeper in the 80th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Adrian Ekström could save by the left post. Jens-Erik Kihlberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Adrian Ekström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jens-Erik Kihlberg's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. In the 85th minute, Sven-Ove Hedbom got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Niklas Njurenius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mikael Smedfeldt having to interfere. Jens-Erik Kihlberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lannavaara IF's Adrian Ekström tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.
