Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) A hard shot 3 in the game by George Trulsson from a close distance when the talented Rune Göransson managed to make a qualified save. Åsele's players were relieved. In the 5th minute, George Trulsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 7th match minute, Åsele was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vidar Alströmer to maneuver through the defense. In the 8th minute, Sten Deckberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Henric Forssell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 11th minute Henric Forssell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bengt-Rune Björk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Åsele booed when Ramdala RK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bengt-Arne Tidéksson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Henric Forssell managed to get in a good position for a shot. Åsele's supporters rose to their feet, but Henric Forssell was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bengt-Rune Björk breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 14 minutes of play, Åsele's Henric Forssell made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bengt-Rune Björk was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Henric Forssell during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 21 minutes into the match, Ramdala RK's goal looked a bit too open when Henric Forssell came free, but Bengt-Rune Björk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, George Trulsson put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Rune Göransson. Rune Göransson was out of position in the 32 minute of play, and Vilgot Bäcklin capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Vilgot Bäcklin really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. In the 40th minute, Oskar Ekström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Henric Forssell recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Walter Stenström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bengt-Rune Björk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tobias Simonsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tobias Simonsson to make the kick off. Walter Stenström kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. 55 minutes into the game, Tobias Simonsson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bengt-Rune Björk. Tobias Simonsson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by George Trulsson during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 61 played minutes Ramdala RK got a freekick which was hit by George Trulsson. When Tobias Simonsson came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Åsele fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tobias Simonsson couldn't finish the play. Vilgot Bäcklin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Rune Göransson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, George Trulsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ramdala RK's supporters rose to their feet, but George Trulsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rune Göransson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Henry Odman hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. An unexpected shot in the 81st minute by Henric Forssell got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 82nd minute, Herman Hellström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bengt-Rune Björk didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Henric Forssell went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. Henric Forssell struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Bengt-Rune Björk didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Åsele. Tobias Simonsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Åsele walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
