In the 9th match minute, FAIF IS LIFE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sten Lägdin to maneuver through the defense. IF Hille's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jesper Häger in the 11th minute. IF Hille's Jesper Häger was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Patrik Palm in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Patrik Palm came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by IF Hille's Roland Dalman. But to his dismay, Roland Dalman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Sverker Pihl's late challenge caught a IF Hille's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sverker Pihl helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, FAIF IS LIFE's Sverker Pihl got a free kick in the 19th minute. Patrik Palm didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Roland Dalman went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lennart Låsberg in the 23rd minute of play forced FAIF IS LIFE's goalkeeper Patrik Palm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Patrik Palm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lennart Låsberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. After 24 minutes, Helge Blomkvist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FAIF IS LIFE and the IF Hille players grew even worse after the yellow card. Helge Blomkvist hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Patrik Palm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lennart Låsberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. FAIF IS LIFE's Patrik Palm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lennart Låsberg in the 29th minute of play. Sverker Pihl who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 30thth minute tested the skills of Jan-Ove Berg when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 32 minutes of play FAIF IS LIFE's Sverker Pihl was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. IF Hille's Edgar Ståhlberg was substituted for Bengt-Åke Karlsson. In the 34th match minute, FAIF IS LIFE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sverker Pihl to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 36 minutes, Roland Dalman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. IF Hille's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roland Dalman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Erling Bäcklin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan-Ove Berg having to interfere. Magnus Skröder got a throw-in 41 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Jesper Häger. FAIF IS LIFE's Patrik Palm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roland Dalman in the 47th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

In the 52nd minute Erling Bäcklin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan-Ove Berg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, FAIF IS LIFE's Patrik Palm got control of the ball when Roland Dalman tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, FAIF IS LIFE's Alex Granberg got a free kick in the 56th minute. Lennart Låsberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Patrik Palm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 63rd play minute Roland Dalman came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Patrik Palm. 0-3. The referee gave FAIF IS LIFE a penalty, 68 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Patrik Hagberg, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of IF Hille's Jan-Ove Berg. 1-3. 73 minutes into the match, IF Hille's goal looked a bit too open when Stig-Ove Vennerdal came free, but Jan-Ove Berg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 74 minutes IF Hille's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Patrik Hagberg who took care of the corner kick. Jan-Ove Berg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erling Bäcklin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Erling Bäcklin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan-Ove Berg having to interfere. After a rather tough play, FAIF IS LIFE's Kent Forsberg got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Patrik Palm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lennart Låsberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. IF Hille played a much better game than FAIF IS LIFE and deserved their victory. The FAIF IS LIFE players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
