The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The crowd rose to their feet as Grimsås BK's Ted Sjöström slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Herbert Nyberg. That made the score 1-0 after 4 minutes of play. From close distance Kjell Asserlindh pressed in the 3-0 goal high up into nets stiches in the right cross 14 minutes into the game. Greger Åberg charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Greger Åberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Greger Åberg kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. In the 19th minute of the match, Ted Sjöström tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Herbert Nyberg saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 19th minute, Kjell Asserlindh got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 21st minute, Grimsås BK's Ted Sjöström ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Herbert Nyberg. Herbert Nyberg yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Grimsås BK's Ted Sjöström slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Herbert Nyberg. That made the score 5-0 after 24 minutes of play. In the 27th match minute, Grimsås BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Bammerman to maneuver through the defense. 31 minutes into the match, Kjell Asserlindh notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Flyers SC's Herbert Nyberg. Herbert Nyberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet as Grimsås BK's Sonny Askestät slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Herbert Nyberg. That made the score 7-0 after 37 minutes of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 7-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Frans Forss made a kick off. Kjell Asserlindh recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 53rd minute, Sonny Askestät left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Grimsås BK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. Sonny Askestät hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Herbert Nyberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kjell Asserlindh in the 61st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Flyers SC's zone, Kjell Asserlindh stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Herbert Nyberg came out of the goal and Kjell Asserlindh tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Herbert Nyberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ted Sjöström, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. 67 minutes into the game, Alex Bammerman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 10-0. Herbert Nyberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Herbert Nyberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ted Sjöström in the 70th minute of the match. Herbert Nyberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kjell Asserlindh, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Herbert Nyberg came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Grimsås BK's Alex Bammerman. But to his dismay, Alex Bammerman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 12-0. Herbert Nyberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kjell Asserlindh in the 79th minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, Flyers SC's goal looked a bit too open when Sonny Askestät came free, but Herbert Nyberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Grimsås BK getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Alex Bammerman hit a great ball. Flyers SC's Herbert Nyberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ted Sjöström in the 88th minute of play. Ted Sjöström scored 13-0 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Herbert Nyberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Kjell Asserlindh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herbert Nyberg having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Grimsås BK fully deserved thier win.
