The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th match minute, Moskosel BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elliott Vallgren to maneuver through the defense. Arvid Vennerkvist received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Michael Mellberg came out and tried to block the shot, but Arvid Vennerkvist slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 6th minute. Michael Bagge hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Torgny Smitt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Michael Mellberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In a very dangerous position, a player in Moskosel BK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 19th minute. Penalty! Michael Mellberg went to the wrong direction when Arvid Vennerkvist was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. 22 minutes into the game, Elliott Vallgren was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Moskosel BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Jägers the free kick. Elliott Vallgren hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Arvid Vennerkvist took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Michael Mellberg to make any attempt to save it. 2-1 became the score in the 31st minute when Tony Forsberg elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Arvid Vennerkvist succeeded in the game's 35th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-1. Torgny Smitt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Michael Mellberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Michael Bagge sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eddie Svanberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tony Forsberg in the 47th minute of the match. Zebastian Abrahamsson took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 48th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Eddie Svanberg. FC Jägers's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tony Forsberg made a kick off. If Michael Bagge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Arvid Vennerkvist's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Michael Mellberg was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Tomas Håkansson took a quick shot and it went in 3-3 without a chance for Eddie Svanberg to make any attempt to save it. Eddie Svanberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tony Forsberg in the 67th minute of the match. 69 minutes into the match, Moskosel BK's goal looked a bit too open when Arvid Vennerkvist came free, but Michael Mellberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eddie Svanberg made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Michael Bagge sent off a good shot on target. FC Jägers's Torgny Smitt got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rudolf Kock fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michael Mellberg having to interfere. If Michael Bagge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to FC Jägers getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Sebastian Fanström hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Torgny Smitt in the 92nd minute of play forced Moskosel BK's goalkeeper Michael Mellberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 94 minutes into the game, Adrian Isaksson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-3. Michael Mellberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
