The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Bror Forsell made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Torgny Smitt sent off a good shot on target. Eddie Svanberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 杜亮树 in the 15th minute of the match. Bror Forsell didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arvid Vennerkvist went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. If Torgny Smitt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adrian Isaksson got free with Bror Forsell in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 24th minute, Torgny Smitt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bror Forsell was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. After a rather tough play, FC Jägers's Svante Groth got a free kick in the 27th minute. Bror Forsell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrian Isaksson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bror Forsell made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Torgny Smitt sent off a good shot on target. 39 minutes into the match, FC Korvspad's goalkeeper Bror Forsell had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adrian Isaksson. FC Korvspad's Bror Forsell proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save FC Korvspad from getting a goal against them. After having played for 42 minutes, Torgny Smitt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Jägers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Torgny Smitt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Torgny Smitt stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, FC Korvspad's goal looked a bit too open when Torgny Smitt came free, but Bror Forsell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tommy Anselius during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of FC Jägers booed when FC Korvspad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tommy Anselius didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bror Forsell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Torgny Smitt, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Torgny Smitt managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Jägers's supporters rose to their feet, but Torgny Smitt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bror Forsell breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bror Forsell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Torgny Smitt, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Esbjörn Gallin advanced and headed the ball into goal, 5-0 in the 84th minute. When Rudolf Kock fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Jägers's protests and gave Rudolf Kock a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of FC Korvspad booed when FC Jägers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rudolf Kock didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jan Ferm could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Eddie Svanberg made a huge save. FC Jägers's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
