Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Douglas Ekeroth in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sven-Arne Brodin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jan-Ove Backman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Sven-Arne Brodin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sven-Arne Brodin was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Douglas Ekeroth showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 6 minute of play. 11 minutes in the game, Jan-Ove Backman fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Sven-Arne Brodin having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Borussia Herrhagen's zone, Douglas Ekeroth stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sven-Arne Brodin came out of the goal and Douglas Ekeroth tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sven-Arne Brodin made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Gert Fransson sent off a good shot on target. Douglas Ekeroth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven-Arne Brodin having to interfere. Sven-Arne Brodin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tobias Jespersson in the 23rd minute of play. Karl-Michael Ekström kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Sven-Arne Brodin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Douglas Ekeroth's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Borussia Herrhagen's Sven-Arne Brodin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Borussia Herrhagen from getting a goal against them. Christer Boklund kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. With his leg Sven-Arne Brodin managed to avoid a goal in the 37thth minute, when SigmaDuck's Douglas Ekeroth fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After having played for 38 minutes, Jan-Ove Backman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SigmaDuck's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jan-Ove Backman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Douglas Ekeroth to make the kick off. Sven-Arne Brodin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Douglas Ekeroth in the 58th minute of play. When the match clock showed 60 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Douglas Ekeroth sped through Borussia Herrhagen's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Sven-Arne Brodin. Kenneth Grönberg hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. SigmaDuck's Jan-Ove Backman couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Borussia Herrhagen. Sven-Arne Brodin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Douglas Ekeroth in the 75th minute of play. Gert Fransson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven-Arne Brodin having to interfere. 79 minutes into the match, SigmaDuck's Rickard Samuelsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sven-Arne Brodin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 85th match minute, Borussia Herrhagen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Åke Granberg to maneuver through the defense. Jan-Ove Backman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven-Arne Brodin having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Douglas Ekeroth in the 88th minute of play forced Borussia Herrhagen's goalkeeper Sven-Arne Brodin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 90 minutes into the match, Borussia Herrhagen's goal looked a bit too open when Douglas Ekeroth came free, but Sven-Arne Brodin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Borussia Herrhagen's Karl-Michael Ekström got a free kick in the 91st minute. Sven-Arne Brodin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Douglas Ekeroth's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. SigmaDuck fully deserved thier win.
