When Sebastian Bredberg came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Hisings Kärra IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sebastian Bredberg couldn't finish the play. When Gällstad's August Göransson in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hisings Kärra IF's goalie prevented a goal. Örjan Jansson charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After 11 played minutes, Gällstad's Peter Gunnarsson shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gert Eliasson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Gällstad reached it. 13 minutes into the game, Albert Kvist cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Tony Alkvist was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 18th minute August Göransson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gert Eliasson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Örjan Jansson hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. In the 27th minute, Kjell-Arne Haglund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Viggo Grelsson during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Hisings Kärra IF getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Viggo Grelsson hit a great ball. After 33 played minutes Gällstad got a freekick which was hit by Herman Nyström. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albert Kvist in the 35th minute of play forced Gällstad's goalkeeper Tony Alkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Gällstad booed when Hisings Kärra IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kjell-Arne Haglund didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gert Eliasson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anders Malmberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Gert Eliasson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rune Wallgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Henry Åström's late challenge caught a Gällstad's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Henry Åström helped the player get up and apologised. In the 41st minute, Henry Åström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Tony Alkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albert Kvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Anders Malmberg's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Gert Eliasson firmly grabbed it by the left post. A collision led to Hisings Kärra IF getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Albert Kvist hit a great ball. In the 68th minute, Gällstad's Anders Malmberg ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gert Eliasson. Gert Eliasson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. If Anders Malmberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kjell-Arne Haglund hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Hisings Kärra IF's Johannes Hedbom quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Rune Wallgren, made in the 87th minute of the game. 89 minutes into the match, Gällstad's August Göransson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gert Eliasson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 91st minute, Anders Malmberg made a precise shot to the right of Gert Eliasson. Hisings Kärra IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Gällstad played a much better game than Hisings Kärra IF and deserved their victory. The Hisings Kärra IF players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
