Ian Skoglund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valentin Wahlnäs, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. After a rather tough play, Abbekås BK's Thomas Frisck got a free kick in the 8th minute. Rune Landin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Greger Snäll read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Johannes Björck got free with Greger Snäll in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Thomas Frisck fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Abbekås BK's protests and gave Thomas Frisck a yellow card for diving instead. 19 minutes into the game, Sven-Olof Qvarnström cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Ian Skoglund was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 26th minute Filiph Pihlberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Greger Snäll saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With 28 minutes on the clock, Thomas Frisck commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 28 minutes into the game, one of Abbekås BK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Abbekås BK's Greger Snäll proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Abbekås BK from getting a goal against them. Sivert Aspengren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Ian Skoglund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ian Skoglund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marc Söderberg in the 44th minute of play. Filiph Pihlberg hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. 47 minutes into the game, Sven-Olof Qvarnström was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Abbekås BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave IFK Red Bull the free kick. A collision led to Abbekås BK getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Sven-Olof Qvarnström hit a great ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The wind increased when Thomas Björkqvist made the kick off in the second half. Abbekås BK's Greger Snäll played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rune Landin in the 54th minute of play. If Sven-Olof Qvarnström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ian Skoglund made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Thomas Björkqvist sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rune Landin in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Greger Snäll saved Abbekås BK from getting behind. After 63 played minutes IFK Red Bull got a freekick which was hit by Tommy Gustafsson. 66 minutes into the match, Thomas Björkqvist notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of IFK Red Bull's Ian Skoglund. Ian Skoglund was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Greger Snäll didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Otto Brummer went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. In the 75th minute, Abbekås BK's Thomas Björkqvist dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-3. 79 minutes into the match, IFK Red Bull's goalkeeper Ian Skoglund had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Thomas Björkqvist. Johannes Björck charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Johannes Björck the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 83rd minute Thomas Björkqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ian Skoglund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sven-Olof Qvarnström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Filiph Pihlberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Greger Snäll took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Otto Brummer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thomas Björkqvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. IFK Red Bull were victorious despite being under pressure from Abbekås BK for much of the match.
