Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Östmark's Niklas Barck started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Niklas Barck's late challenge caught a Hallsberg FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Niklas Barck helped the player get up and apologised. Niklas Barck kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. In the 4th minute, Christer Gudmundsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Östmark's goalkeeper Sebastian Eriksson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 10 minutes into the game, Christer Fransson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Östmark's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hallsberg FK the free kick. After 10 played minutes Östmark got a freekick which was hit by Christer Fransson. Arvid Hybbert scored 0-1 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sebastian Eriksson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Arvid Hybbert's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sebastian Eriksson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. After some careless play in the Östmark defense, Arvid Hybbert kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sebastian Eriksson. The Östmark fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sebastian Eriksson should have stopped the shot. Sebastian Eriksson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Biörk, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. If David Biörk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Östmark defense, Arvid Hybbert kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sebastian Eriksson. The Östmark fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sebastian Eriksson should have stopped the shot. 46 minutes into the match, Östmark's goal looked a bit too open when Arvid Hybbert came free, but Sebastian Eriksson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Östmark's Sebastian Eriksson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Egon Malmberg in the 48th minute of play. After the first half Hallsberg FK were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Arvid Hybbert made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Hallsberg FK's zone, Ian Möller stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gösta Ferm came out of the goal and Ian Möller tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A sloppy throw-in by Kjell-Arne Bogren in the 55th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Hallsberg FK's Niklas Lindberg. Egon Malmberg struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Sebastian Eriksson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hallsberg FK. In the 58th match minute, Hallsberg FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Lindholm to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Arvid Hybbert kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Sebastian Eriksson. That made the score 0-4 in the 61 minute of play. In the 67th of the match, Arvid Hybbert tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Sebastian Eriksson got in the way and made a wonderful save. Sebastian Eriksson was out of position in the 69 minute of play, and Fredrik Björkdahl capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Fredrik Björkdahl really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. After a defensive mix-up in Hallsberg FK's zone, Ian Möller stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emanuel Lindholm charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emanuel Lindholm the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Sebastian Eriksson was out of position in the 76 minute of play, and Egon Malmberg capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Egon Malmberg really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. 80 minutes into the match, Arvid Hybbert dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Sebastian Eriksson, 0-7. Arvid Hybbert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastian Eriksson having to interfere. Hallsberg FK's Arvid Hybbert got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arvid Hybbert recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Egon Malmberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94th minute of the match, Arvid Hybbert tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Sebastian Eriksson saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Fredrik Björkdahl managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hallsberg FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Fredrik Björkdahl was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sebastian Eriksson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hallsberg FK played a much better game than Östmark and deserved their victory. The Östmark players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
