After having played for 15 minutes, Olov Jonsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Redskins Hk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Olov Jonsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fredrik Björkdahl's late challenge caught a Redskins Hk's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fredrik Björkdahl helped the player get up and apologised. In the 16th match minute, Hallsberg FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fredrik Björkdahl to maneuver through the defense. If David Biörk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Redskins Hk's Aleksander Almstedt got a free kick in the 20th minute. Hallsberg FK's Gösta Ferm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olov Jonsson in the 28th minute of play. The supporters of Redskins Hk booed when Hallsberg FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hubert Lindberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristian Barros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Gösta Ferm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristian Barros made a great header on Redskins Hk's corner, it was just that Hallsberg FK's Gösta Ferm managed to reach the ball for a save. 38 minutes into the match, Aleksander Almstedt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gösta Ferm. Hallsberg FK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aleksander Almstedt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Gösta Ferm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Barros, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Olov Jonsson got free with Gösta Ferm in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. David Biörk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henrik Kalfhage having to interfere. In the 74th minute, Victor Klint hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Redskins Hk's Olov Jonsson got a free kick in the 76th minute. Gösta Ferm made an important save on a dangerous shot by Christer Säfström in the 79th minute. Gösta Ferm was a little too slow when Olov Jonsson got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 80th minute. The score was now 0-3. Hallsberg FK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 85th minute, when Olov Jonsson scored to the left of an out of position Gösta Ferm, making the score, 0-4.
