The referee ignored Hallsberg FK's protests and gave Hubert Lindberg a yellow card for diving instead. Gösta Ferm didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for IFK Red Bull. After having played for 26 minutes, Egon Malmberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hallsberg FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Egon Malmberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arvid Hybbert blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ian Skoglund having to make a save. 29 minutes into the game, Victor Skytt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. IFK Red Bull's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hallsberg FK the free kick. Rune Landin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gösta Ferm having to interfere. Gösta Ferm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filiph Pihlberg in the 34th minute of the match. 35 minutes into the match, Hallsberg FK's Arvid Hybbert sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ian Skoglund narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, IFK Red Bull's Tommy Gustafsson got a free kick in the 38th minute. IFK Red Bull's defense didn't have a chance, in the 40th minute, when Arvid Hybbert scored to the left of an out of position Ian Skoglund, making the score, 2-0. The supporters of IFK Red Bull booed when Hallsberg FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Lindholm didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filiph Pihlberg in the 47th minute of play forced Hallsberg FK's goalkeeper Gösta Ferm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arvid Hybbert made a kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Arvid Hybbert cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Ian Skoglund was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ian Skoglund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Biörk, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. IFK Red Bull's Ian Skoglund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Biörk in the 58th minute of play. Filiph Pihlberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gösta Ferm having to interfere. Otto Brummer struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Gösta Ferm didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for IFK Red Bull. Hallsberg FK's Gösta Ferm proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Hallsberg FK from getting a goal against them. Arvid Hybbert recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 75 minutes into the match, Hallsberg FK's goal looked a bit too open when Rune Landin came free, but Gösta Ferm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gösta Ferm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rune Landin in the 79th minute of the match. A collision led to Hallsberg FK getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Hubert Lindberg hit a great ball. Gösta Ferm was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Rune Landin showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-1 in the 89 minute of play.
