The ball had pretty good speed, but Gösta Ferm firmly grabbed it by the left post. After having played for 19 minutes, Sven-Olof Qvarnström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Abbekås BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sven-Olof Qvarnström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hallsberg FK's Gösta Ferm proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Hallsberg FK from getting a goal against them. Niklas Lindberg hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. 27 minutes into the game, Abbekås BK's Thomas Björkqvist nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gösta Ferm made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. If David Biörk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hubert Lindberg scored 1-2 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Greger Snäll, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Greger Snäll took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arvid Hybbert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Egon Malmberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Greger Snäll having to interfere. If Egon Malmberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thomas Björkqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gösta Ferm having to interfere. Greger Snäll showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Egon Malmberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Thomas Björkqvist was the one to do the kick off. Arvid Hybbert took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Greger Snäll. Greger Snäll dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. In the 73rd match minute, Hallsberg FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victor Klint to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thomas Björkqvist in the 78th minute of play forced Hallsberg FK's goalkeeper Gösta Ferm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Niklas Lindberg hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Valentin Wahlnäs managed to get in a good position for a shot. Abbekås BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Valentin Wahlnäs was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gösta Ferm breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gösta Ferm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thomas Björkqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. When Thomas Björkqvist came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Abbekås BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Thomas Björkqvist couldn't finish the play. In the 90th minute, Valentin Wahlnäs ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gösta Ferm was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
