In the 22ndth minute of the game Lars Josefsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cornostrada BK's Robin Björk was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Cornostrada BK's zone, Dick Linqvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Robin Björk came out of the goal and Dick Linqvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 27th minute Lars Josefsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robin Björk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Malte Överman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aaron Boström in the 29th minute of the match. After having played for 31 minutes, Lars Josefsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Linde BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lars Josefsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Dick Linqvist came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Linde BK fans jumped to their feet. Dag Mikaelsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Malte Överman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, Dick Linqvist dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Robin Björk, 3-0. With his leg Robin Björk managed to avoid a goal in the 47thth minute, when Linde BK's Lars Josefsson fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side.

The wind increased when Jonathan Norberg made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Cornostrada BK getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Aaron Boström hit a great ball. There was no doubt that Linde BK were the better team. Linde BK's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
