The audience thought a goal was coming when Niclas Sjögren got free with Kurt Berg in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Håkan Billock kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Gustav Åkerström kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Niclas Sjögrens short, quick shot in the 25thth minute got Kurt Berg to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The supporters of Svaneholm booed when Tällberg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustav Åkerström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kurt Berg made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Niclas Sjögren sent off a good shot on target. Verner Blom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kurt Berg having to interfere. 37 minutes into the match, Tällberg's goalkeeper Kurt Berg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Niclas Sjögren. Kurt Berg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michel Ekström in the 43rd minute of the match. Håkan Billock charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Håkan Billock the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Tällberg's Håkan Billock got a free kick in the 44th minute. Jan-Olof Mårtensson was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 72nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 73rdth minute of the game Verner Blom who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tällberg's Kurt Berg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Niclas Sjögren might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kurt Berg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Niclas Sjögren ran back to his position shaking his head. Tällberg's Kurt Berg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niclas Sjögren in the 78th minute of play. A collision led to Svaneholm getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Verner Blom hit a great ball. Odysseas Vrakozonis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sven-Ove Tunberg in the 82nd minute. Kurt Berg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Verner Blom's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. In the 90th minute, Eddie Nordmark hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Verner Blom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tällberg's Kurt Berg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niclas Sjögren in the 93rd minute of play. Kurt Berg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Michel Ekström went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. There was no doubt that Svaneholm were the better team. Svaneholm's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
