Kaj Fors made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mats Zachrisson in the 35th minute of play. 36 minutes into the game, Sebastian Lundström recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mattias Andreasson. Sebastian Lundström showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. A collision led to Fc Österäng getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Gunnar Bolander hit a great ball. 40 minutes into the match, Petter Kjellkvist had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kaj Fors. Fc Österäng's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Petter Kjellkvist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Kaj Fors took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Petter Kjellkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kaj Fors showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bengt Ekberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. The Fc Österäng players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Järvsö FF were winning 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Petter Kjellkvist made a kick off. When Gunnar Bolander came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Fc Österäng fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gunnar Bolander couldn't finish the play. Mattias Andreasson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Lundström in the 54th minute of the match. A hard shot by Bengt-Åke Drewitz from long distance, 56 minutes into the match, got Kaj Fors's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Kaj Fors made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sebastian Dahlberg in the 58th minute. 60 minutes into the match, Järvsö FF's goal looked a bit too open when Gunnar Bolander came free, but Mattias Andreasson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Petter Kjellkvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Järvsö FF's Bengt-Åke Drewitz got a free kick in the 68th minute. 70 minutes into the game, Sebastian Lundström cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Mattias Andreasson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Kaj Fors took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Petter Kjellkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kaj Fors made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bengt Ekberg in the 83rd minute. A collision led to Fc Österäng getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Sebastian Lundström hit a great ball. In the 88th minute, Sebastian Lundström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Järvsö FF's Mattias Andreasson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johannes Hjelm in the 90th minute of play. In the 98th minute, Sebastian Dahlberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kaj Fors was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-4. When the match was over Järvsö FF could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Fc Österäng throughout the match.
