When Valdemar Sellberg came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Kvicksund Elite Academy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valdemar Sellberg couldn't finish the play. Jan-Ove Rönn struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Börje Ahlkvist had in the 26thth minute some difficulties stopping Ivan Ekberg's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Ivan Ekberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Börje Ahlkvist. Kvicksund Elite Academy's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ivan Ekberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Jan-Ove Rönn came free with the goalkeeper in the 29th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Börje Ahlkvist could save by the left post. A hard shot 30 in the game by Jan-Ove Rönn from a close distance when the talented Börje Ahlkvist managed to make a qualified save. Kvicksund Elite Academy's players were relieved. Börje Ahlkvist made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Jan-Ove Rönn sent off a good shot on target. 44 minutes into the match, Kvicksund Elite Academy's goalkeeper Börje Ahlkvist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jan-Ove Rönn. After a rather tough play, Denzashow's Baptiste Santamaria got a free kick in the 45th minute. Jan-Ove Rönns short, quick shot in the 48thth minute got Börje Ahlkvist to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Valdemar Sellberg made a kick off. Börje Ahlkvist came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Denzashow's Jan-Ove Rönn. But to his dismay, Jan-Ove Rönn quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Jan-Ove Rönn managed to get in a good position for a shot. Denzashow's supporters rose to their feet, but Jan-Ove Rönn was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Börje Ahlkvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Kvicksund Elite Academy defense, Jan-Ove Rönn kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Börje Ahlkvist. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jan-Ove Rönn in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Börje Ahlkvist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jan-Ove Rönn recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Börje Ahlkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan-Ove Rönn, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute.
