Spectators: 7478 (Terracing: 5610, Seating: 1719, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Sebastian Lundström started the match with the kick off. Through an outstanding action, after 15 minutes, Kevin Malmgren successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 16th minute, Sebastian Lundström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kevin Malmgren was out of position in the 17 minute of play, and Johannes Hjelm capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Johannes Hjelm really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sebastian Lundström got free with Kevin Malmgren in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Johannes Hjelm hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Börje Lustig recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Börje Lustig struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Kaj Fors didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Algott IF. Börje Lustig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Kaj Fors tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Börje Lustig made a kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Sebastian Lundström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fc Österäng's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastian Lundström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 56th minute, Ove Kruuse ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kevin Malmgren was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. After a rather tough play, Fc Österäng's Ove Kruuse got a free kick in the 68th minute. Folke Sundberg struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Kaj Fors didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Algott IF. A collision led to Fc Österäng getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Ove Kruuse hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gunnar Bolander in the 88th minute of play forced Algott IF's goalkeeper Kevin Malmgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gunnar Bolander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Kevin Malmgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kevin Malmgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Lundström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Fc Österäng had won after a very even match.
