Sebastian Uggla could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Bo-Erik Stenkvist made a huge save. Thor Persson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bo-Erik Stenkvist having to make a save. Christer Duset fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bo-Erik Stenkvist having to interfere. Joakim Kvarnström scored 0-1 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pelle Adelsköld, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Sebastian Uggla made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Slottsskogens IK's goalkeeper Pelle Adelsköld, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 52nd minute, Torbjörn Carlsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joakim Kvarnström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Torbjörn Carlsson charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Torbjörn Carlsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Torbjörn Carlsson hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. In the 58th match minute, Slottsskogens IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexander Brogren to maneuver through the defense. 60 minutes into the game, Sebastian Uggla cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Athena Schnoodle FC's Kim Haraldsson got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Sebastian Uggla managed to get in a good position for a shot. Slottsskogens IK's supporters rose to their feet, but Sebastian Uggla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bo-Erik Stenkvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 85th match minute, Slottsskogens IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Torbjörn Carlsson to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Sebastian Uggla managed to get in a good position for a shot.
