Slottsparken FF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ove Kruuse ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Johannes Hjelm heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Lundström in the 28th minute of play forced Slottsparken FF's goalkeeper Jonatan Benet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Johannes Hjelm had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonatan Benet. Slottsparken FF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Johannes Hjelm was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Kenny Grönberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Kaj Fors made a huge save. In the 44th minute Tobias Benett shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kaj Fors saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 45 minutes, Ragnar Stål managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Slottsparken FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ragnar Stål was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 46 minutes into the match, Fc Österäng's goalkeeper Kaj Fors had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tobias Benett.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sebastian Lundström made a kick off. The supporters of Slottsparken FF booed when Fc Österäng was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ludvig Vacker didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tobias Benett fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 53rd minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball bounced in the crossbar and then went out. It was a very nice shot. When the match clock showed 55 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Tobias Benett sped through Fc Österäng's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Kaj Fors. If Ragnar Stål had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Slottsparken FF getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Ragnar Stål hit a great ball. 71 minutes into the match, Fc Österäng's goal looked a bit too open when Charlie Jansson came free, but Kaj Fors reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kaj Fors stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tobias Benett's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. Slottsparken FF's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tobias Benett in the 74th minute. Fc Österäng's Kaj Fors played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tobias Benett in the 79th minute of play.
