The goalkeeper, Tommy Rydberg, was totally fooled by BK30's Mattias Beckman, who 6 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. If Leif Bolander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jörgen Söderquist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tage Lang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 12 minutes into the game, Pontus Klint was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. BK30's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Örebro SK Söder the free kick. Pontus Klint kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Jan-Olof Abrahamsson was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 16 minutes into the match. When the match had been going on for 18 minutes, BK30's Mattias Beckman got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Tommy Rydberg. After a rather tough play, BK30's Leif Bolander got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Tage Lang received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Jörgen Söderquist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Niklas Kielberg's late challenge caught a Örebro SK Söder's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. BK30's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Tage Lang 68 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-1. Adam Hellström hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Victor Jonsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tommy Rydberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victor Jonsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Tage Lang kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jörgen Söderquist. That made the score 2-3 in the 85 minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in BK30's zone, Tage Lang stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jörgen Söderquist came out of the goal and Tage Lang tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 93 minutes into the match, Örebro SK Söder's goal looked a bit too open when Leif Bolander came free, but Tommy Rydberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Örebro SK Söder's Tage Lang slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jörgen Söderquist. That made the score 2-4 after 94 minutes of play. Örebro SK Söder's Per-Arne Andreasson was substituted for Karl Åberg.
