Gevalia Coffeetigers's Grzegorz Dytrych got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Filiph Hellsing made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gunnar Asklund in the 5th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ralf Almstedt in the 6th minute of play forced Gevalia Coffeetigers's goalkeeper Filiph Hellsing to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 9 minutes into the game, Ralf Almstedt cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Filiph Hellsing was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Filiph Hellsing made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albert Blom in the 13th minute of play. Agne Kollberg was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 16 minutes into the match. In the 16th minute, one of Det är baaarn!:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Det är baaarn!. The supporters of Det är baaarn! booed when Gevalia Coffeetigers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Fabiano Souza didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 35thth minute of the game Grzegorz Dytrych who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Det är baaarn!'s Orvar Österlund was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Det är baaarn!'s Tim Gulliksson got a free kick in the 39th minute. Orvar Österlund made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Olov Myr sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Det är baaarn!'s Albert Blom got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Nils Stål hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Filiph Hellsing came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Det är baaarn!'s Gunnar Asklund. But to his dismay, Gunnar Asklund quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gunnar Asklund stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Gevalia Coffeetigers's Filiph Hellsing got control of the ball when Albert Blom tried to sneak it across the goal line. Det är baaarn!'s Albert Blom got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 57th minute, Olov Myr made a precise shot to the right of Orvar Österlund. Det är baaarn!'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Grzegorz Dytrych fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orvar Österlund having to interfere. 68 minutes into the match, Gevalia Coffeetigers's goal looked a bit too open when Gunnar Asklund came free, but Filiph Hellsing reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gunnar Asklund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Filiph Hellsing tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 78th minute, Sven-Erik Joensson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gunnar Asklund recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 81 minutes, Gunnar Asklund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Det är baaarn!'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Gunnar Asklund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 83rd play minutes Nils Stål shot 1-3, a short shot which went by Filiph Hellsing and just under the crossbar into goal. After a defensive mix-up in Gevalia Coffeetigers's zone, Gunnar Asklund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filiph Hellsing came out of the goal and Gunnar Asklund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Det är baaarn! booed when Gevalia Coffeetigers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven-Erik Joensson didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Det är baaarn! supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Det är baaarn! would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
