Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) Nils Magnusson made the kick off and thus started the match. After 3 played minutes Vargön IFK got a freekick which was hit by Karl-Magnus Axelsson. 6 minutes into the game, Nils Magnusson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Harald Holmberg. Nils Magnusson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Alex Söderkvist received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Harald Holmberg came out and tried to block the shot, but Alex Söderkvist slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 9th minute. After some careless play in the Vargön IFK defense, Karl-Michael Forsberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jesper Larsfelt. The Vargön IFK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jesper Larsfelt should have stopped the shot. In the 22ndth minute of the game Nils Magnusson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sandhem's Harald Holmberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Vargön IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Aron Jernberg came free, but Jesper Larsfelt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 29 minutes of play, Sandhem's Magnus Vennerdal made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jesper Larsfelt was left in no man's land by his defense there! Harald Holmberg made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Åke Forsman sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nils Magnusson in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Harald Holmberg saved Sandhem from getting behind. In the 47th minute, Magnus Vennerdal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sandhem fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. The first half was very even, with the score at 3-3 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Magnus Vennerdal to strike the kick off in the second half. After 55 played minutes, Sandhem's Calle Lindman shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jesper Larsfelt came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sandhem reached it. If Karl-Michael Forsberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jesper Larsfelt didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Karl-Michael Forsberg went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-4 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Sandhem's Peder Månsson got a free kick in the 67th minute. Jesper Larsfelt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Magnus Vennerdal, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Vargön IFK's Patrik Dalström got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Magnus Vennerdal was extremely unlucky when he, in the 79th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Jesper Larsfelt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Magnus Vennerdal in the 84th minute of the match. Evert Sandberg hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Alex Söderkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Sandhem eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
