After 12 minutes of play, The Kop Boys's Erland Tham made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mårten Vallmark's late challenge caught a FC George's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After some careless play in the The Kop Boys defense, Edwin Strömberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kenny Åkerman. The The Kop Boys fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kenny Åkerman should have stopped the shot.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jarl Nyman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ernst Gustavsson's late challenge caught a FC George's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The Kop Boys's Kenny Åkerman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jarl Nyman in the 53rd minute of play. FC George's Leonard Kilstedt quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Henry Håning, made in the 57th minute of the game. In the 60th minute, Erland Tham ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Valentin Petersson was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Erland Tham struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Valentin Petersson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The Kop Boys. Sture Bergvall recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of FC George booed when The Kop Boys was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rolf Bock didn't get a good kick on the ball. 76 minutes into the game, FC George's Edwin Strömberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kenny Åkerman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. In the 79th minute, Edwin Strömberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kenny Åkerman was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sture Bergvall during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 83 played minutes FC George got a freekick which was hit by Sture Bergvall. Edwin Strömberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. FC George were furious when Luiz Paulo Tepedino was red carded, 95 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 94 minutes into the game, one of FC George:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 98th minute there was a penalty for The Kop Boys. Vilhelm Eliasson stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Valentin Petersson. 3-3. FC George were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
