Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Nils Magnusson took the kick off in the first half of the match. 4 minutes into the match, Nils Magnusson dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Linus Andersson, 1-0. Linus Andersson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nils Magnusson's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. In the 9th minute Alex Söderkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Linus Andersson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 11 minutes into the match, Al-Pune's goal looked a bit too open when Patrik Dalström came free, but Linus Andersson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nils Magnusson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Linus Andersson having to interfere. Marko Bagge received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Jesper Larsfelt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 18th minute Alex Söderkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Linus Andersson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jesper Larsfelt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Charlie Jelm, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jesper Larsfelt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robert Broman in the 21st minute of play. After 25 minutes of play, Al-Pune's Marko Bagge made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jesper Larsfelt was left in no man's land by his defense there! Evert Sandberg's late challenge caught a Al-Pune's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Evert Sandberg helped the player get up and apologised. After 29 played minutes Vargön IFK got a freekick which was hit by Evert Sandberg. In the 30th minute, Alex Söderkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 33rd minute, Robert Broman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marko Bagge recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Robert Broman struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Jesper Larsfelt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Al-Pune. Vargön IFK's Jesper Larsfelt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Torsten Boklund in the 40th minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, Al-Pune's Robert Broman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jesper Larsfelt narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 47th match minute, Al-Pune was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hans Alberg to maneuver through the defense. Linus Andersson was a little too slow when Nils Magnusson got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 49th minute. The score was now 2-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

55 minutes into the game, Robert Broman recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jesper Larsfelt. Robert Broman showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. Alex Söderkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jesper Larsfelt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robert Broman in the 60th minute of play. A collision led to Vargön IFK getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Östen Siggesson hit a great ball. Charlie Jelm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Charlie Jelm got free with Jesper Larsfelt in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Vargön IFK getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Evert Sandberg hit a great ball. With an all-out effort, Al-Pune's Jesper Larsfelt threw himself towards the right post 75 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Robert Broman, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Torsten Boklund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alex Söderkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Torsten Boklund got free with Jesper Larsfelt in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vargön IFK's Jesper Larsfelt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Vargön IFK from getting a goal against them. Vargön IFK's Jesper Larsfelt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robert Broman in the 91st minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, Al-Pune's goal looked a bit too open when Patrik Dalström came free, but Linus Andersson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Karl-Magnus Axelsson during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 99th minute Robert Broman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jesper Larsfelt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
