After having played for 14 minutes, Rolf Bock managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vilhelm Eliasson came out of the goal and Robert Broman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Al-Pune booed when The Kop Boys was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henry Håning didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Robert Broman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Al-Pune's supporters rose to their feet, but Robert Broman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vilhelm Eliasson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 43 minutes into the game, Al-Pune's Torsten Boklund nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vilhelm Eliasson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. A collision led to The Kop Boys getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Mårten Vallmark hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Al-Pune's Robert Broman slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Vilhelm Eliasson. That made the score 3-0 after 48 minutes of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Robert Broman made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Torsten Boklund in the 55th minute of play forced The Kop Boys's goalkeeper Vilhelm Eliasson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Robert Broman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vilhelm Eliasson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Torsten Boklund, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Mårten Vallmark kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Linus Andersson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henry Håning in the 72nd minute of the match. In the 76th minute, Robert Broman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vilhelm Eliasson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Torsten Boklund went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Charlie Jelm charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Charlie Jelm the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Al-Pune's Charlie Jelm got a free kick in the 94th minute. 98 minutes into the match, The Kop Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Robert Broman came free, but Vilhelm Eliasson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Al-Pune walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
