Spectators: 7471 (Terracing: 5604, Seating: 1718, VIP seats: 149) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Magnus Vennerdal took the kick off in the first half of the match. When FC George's Leonard Kilstedt in the 3rd minute got a chance for a shot 3rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sandhem's goalie prevented a goal. Leif Mager hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. In the 6th play minute Aron Jernberg came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Valentin Petersson. 1-0. Sture Bergvall recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Valentin Petersson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Magnus Vennerdal, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Magnus Vennerdal took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Valentin Petersson to make any attempt to save it. When Edwin Strömberg came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the FC George fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edwin Strömberg couldn't finish the play. Magnus Vennerdal might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Valentin Petersson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Magnus Vennerdal ran back to his position shaking his head. Valentin Petersson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aron Jernberg went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. 29 minutes into the match, Edwin Strömberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Harald Holmberg. Sandhem's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edwin Strömberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Karl-Michael Forsberg kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Magnus Vennerdal might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Valentin Petersson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Magnus Vennerdal ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Magnus Vennerdal in the 38th minute of play forced FC George's goalkeeper Valentin Petersson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aron Jernberg succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 4-1 in the 40th playminute. In the 43rd minute, Leif Mager hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Harald Holmberg came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by FC George's Edwin Strömberg. But to his dismay, Edwin Strömberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-2.

Sandhem's Harald Holmberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jarl Nyman in the 55th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Sandhem's Leif Mager got a free kick in the 55th minute. Leonard Kilstedt blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Harald Holmberg having to make a save. Edwin Strömberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Harald Holmberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Peder Månsson hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Sandhem's zone, Luiz Paulo Tepedino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Harald Holmberg came out of the goal and Luiz Paulo Tepedino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. FC George's Valentin Petersson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Michael Forsberg in the 75th minute of play. Aron Jernberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Magnus Vennerdal fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sandhem's protests and gave Magnus Vennerdal a yellow card for diving instead. After 91 minutes of play, Sandhem's Magnus Vennerdal made it 5-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Valentin Petersson was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aron Jernberg during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of FC George booed when Sandhem was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aron Jernberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Many of FC George's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. FC George may have spent more time on the ball, but Sandhem were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
