Mattias Sörman might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over İlmi Alan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mattias Sörman ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 13th minute Karl-Åke Alstedt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Andersson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. David Andersson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Åke Alstedt in the 16th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mattias Sörman in the 20th minute of play forced Räffle United's goalkeeper İlmi Alan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Mattias Sörman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Räffle United getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Michael Matte hit a great ball. When Mattias Sörman came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Södermalm FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mattias Sörman couldn't finish the play. After 36 minutes of play, Södermalm FF's Bernt Forsberg made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. İlmi Alan was left in no man's land by his defense there! 38 minutes into the match, Mattias Sörman notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Räffle United's İlmi Alan. İlmi Alan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Michael Matte during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Räffle United's Michael Matte got a free kick in the 45th minute. 46 minutes into the match, Södermalm FF's Rickard Bratt broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Mattias Sörman was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 47th minute. Södermalm FF's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Oliver Utfal made a kick off. If Georg Westerberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Karl-Åke Alstedt charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Karl-Åke Alstedt the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bernt Forsberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without İlmi Alan having to interfere. After having played for 73 minutes, Bernt Forsberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Södermalm FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernt Forsberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oliver Utfal got free with David Andersson in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bernt Forsberg struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. İlmi Alan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Södermalm FF. 86 minutes into the match, Räffle United's goal looked a bit too open when Bernt Forsberg came free, but İlmi Alan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mattias Sörman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without İlmi Alan having to interfere. İlmi Alan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Walter Ahlfors in the 89th minute of the match. İlmi Alan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mattias Sörman went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. İlmi Alan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mattias Sörman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 94th minute, Bernt Forsberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 96th minute, Dick Olsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Södermalm FF's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
