If Carl Tomasson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Gunnar Björkqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sandsjöfors FF's supporters rose to their feet, but Gunnar Björkqvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. İlmi Alan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Sandsjöfors FF's Holger Brask in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 33rd match minute, Sandsjöfors FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stellan Fransson to maneuver through the defense. In the 34th minute of the match Bo-Erik Valrot shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Edmund Kämpe showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Gunnar Björkqvist came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Sandsjöfors FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gunnar Björkqvist couldn't finish the play. In the 38th match minute, Sandsjöfors FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carl Tomasson to maneuver through the defense. Holger Brask recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 48th minute Holger Brask shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but İlmi Alan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The referee felt a red card was in order, 57 minutes into the game, when Kenny Åhman put in a rough tackle. After 56 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. Kurt Mattsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. İlmi Alan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In a very dangerous position, a player in Sandsjöfors FF fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 93rd minute. Penalty! Edmund Kämpe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oliver Utfal in the 99th minute of the match. In the 100th minute Sotomayor Edelgaard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmund Kämpe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There was no doubt that Räffle United were the better team. Räffle United's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
