Oliver Martinsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Herbert Friberger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Conny Valler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Conny Valler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Herbert Friberger came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Fågelfors IF's Conny Valler. But to his dismay, Conny Valler quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The Fågelfors IF fans' excitement grew in the 26th match minute when Fågelfors IF's Conny Valler looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 29thth minute of the game Conny Valler who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Elvendale's Herbert Friberger was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 30 played minutes Elvendale got a freekick which was hit by Oliver Martinsson. Fågelfors IF's Alexander Sundström got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Rune Wallmark managed to get in a good position for a shot. Elvendale's supporters rose to their feet, but Rune Wallmark was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roger Strömberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Elvendale getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Oliver Martinsson hit a great ball. If Alexander Sundström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Conny Valler stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Conny Valler kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. A collision led to Elvendale getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Ingvar Harlén hit a great ball. Alexander Sundström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herbert Friberger having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Conny Valler got free with Herbert Friberger in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Elvendale's Herbert Friberger proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Elvendale from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ralf Törnkvist during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Fågelfors IF booed when Elvendale was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ralf Törnkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 68th minute, Andreas Isaksson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Herbert Friberger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Conny Valler, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Andreas Isaksson took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Herbert Friberger to make any attempt to save it. Roger Strömberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oliver Martinsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 89 minutes into the game, Ingvar Harlén cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Roger Strömberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Conny Valler in the 96th minute of play forced Elvendale's goalkeeper Herbert Friberger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alexander Sundström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Fågelfors IF were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
