The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 7th minute Conny Torstensson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tor Grönberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Snokajävla BK booed when Lövnäs BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sören Almstedt didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lövnäs BK's goalkeeper Tor Grönberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Conny Torstensson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benno Magnusson in the 14th minute of play forced Lövnäs BK's goalkeeper Tor Grönberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner led to Snokajävla BK's Conny Torstensson getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Ronnie Hellström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gunnar Carlsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Snokajävla BK's Ronnie Hellström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gunnar Carlsson in the 26th minute of play. In the 28th minute, Sören Almstedt left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lövnäs BK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 36th minute Benny Wendt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tor Grönberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benno Magnusson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tor Grönberg having to interfere. The referee ignored Snokajävla BK's protests and gave Jörgen Augustsson a yellow card for diving instead. Snokajävla BK's Benny Wendt got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Benno Magnusson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Snokajävla BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Benno Magnusson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tor Grönberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tor Grönberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benny Wendt in the 75th minute of the match. The corner led Snokajävla BK's Benny Wendt to fire away a dangerous shot which Tor Grönberg despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benno Magnusson got free with Tor Grönberg in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Benny Wendt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Tor Grönberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lövnäs BK's Viktor Nässén managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Ove Grahn in the 86 minute of the game. In the 91st minute, Benny Wendt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice moves Jörgen Augustsson could shoot a difficult shot in the 93rd minute, which Tor Grönberg however easily saved by the left post. In the 95th minute Benno Magnusson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tor Grönberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 96 played minutes Lövnäs BK got a freekick which was hit by Andy Helberg. When the match was over Snokajävla BK could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Lövnäs BK throughout the match.
